About — M.E. LaVictor

I am a visual artist with a passion for people, design, the great outdoors, and sports. I grew up in Northern Michigan on a small family farm near the shores of Lake Michigan. This picturesque beginning sparked my love for photography.

I’m a storyteller, and I love sharing the immense beauty of our natural world through photography.

I have experience in many forms of photography, including portrait, still life, action, architecture and photojournalism.

My work has been featured in Central Michigan Life and Grand Central Magazine. I interned for Traverse Magazine and was featured in several of its editions. As a student, I was recommended for the Hearst Award. In January 2017, I was awarded first place for "Multimedia Reporting" by the Michigan Press Association for my video story entitled "Blessing of the CMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex" published by Central Michigan Life.
